Today we received the class newsletter. We also received a form for our parents to fill out with contact information and to acknowledge that they saw the newsletter. We completed a survey about ourselves. We then read and wrote about the Math Student's Bill of Rights.

We made name sticks and then were placed in groups using the sticks. We generated class rules and a class mission statement in theses groups.
August 21, 2006
We played the name game. We were not great at it. We received the schedule for this week. We then worked in teams to build the tallest tower out of pipecleaners. For homework we had a handout to write a reflection about the tower activity.
November 15, 2006
In class we used the laptops today and worked on math problems. We will work on differtint problems in the same programe through out the year...We also got some work back.
